Shrtr returns the new short URL and a paired QR code (PNG and SVG). Both are ready immediately — no email confirmation, no waiting page.
Send the short link in chats, embed the QR on print, or paste it into a deck. The public stats page shows total clicks and last-click time without exposing any visitor data.
Yes. There is no signup, no paywall, no ad, and no tracking script. The shortener is rate-limited to prevent abuse, and every short link you create is permanent for unique destinations.

Yes. Alongside the long URL, enter an optional custom alias (5 to 16 characters, letters, digits, and hyphens). Leave blank for a random 7-character code.
Signup is optional and adds: editing the destination of a link after creating it, per-link click analytics (geo, device, referrer), a centralised dashboard for every link you create while signed in, and persistent ownership so a link is always tied to you. Anonymous shortening continues to work exactly as it does today.
Unique links stay active indefinitely. Anonymous duplicate copies of the same URL (5+ without traffic) may be removed after 7 days as an abuse signal. Links with at least one click, custom aliases, and links from registered users are kept forever.
No third-party tracking. We record only the aggregate click count and the timestamp of the last click, used to display basic stats. We hash IP addresses before storing them.
Yes. Shrtr runs Telegram and Viber bots backed by the same shortener. Paste a URL into chat to get a short link and a QR code back, and use /mylinks, /stats and /delete to manage your links without leaving the conversation.
